Talbot Tabbed as First Golf Coach at BMCC

PENDLETON, Ore. - Blue Mountain Community College athletics has selected Jeremy Talbot to lead its returning men's golf program and the very first women's golf program at BMCC going into the 2024-25 season. Coach Talbot has spent the last three years as a golf coach at Pilot Rock High School and the past six seasons as the assistant men's and women's soccer coach at BMCC. Talbot will start right away in recruiting the men's and women's golf teams as they will begin competition August 1st, 2024.

"I am ecstatic to be bringing back the golf program to BMCC as golf is a growing sport in the area. I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of the regional golfers as a high school coach at Pilot Rock. I am eager to help many of our regions golfers find opportunities collegiately to grow themselves and find careers" said Jeremy Talbot. "Starting the very first women's program will be amazing because of the opportunities it will give to female golfers to continue to grow the game. We look forward to working with local high schools and golf courses to make this a program the community can be proud of."
