The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) is designed to make prospective students aware of its commitment to providing equitable athletic opportunities for its male and female students. Any co-educational institution of higher education that participates in a federal student aid program must prepare an EADA report each year. Institutions must also report data to the U.S. Department of Education via this online survey.  This is a mandatory survey.

This report includes:

  • The number of male and female full-time undergraduate students that attended BMCC
  • Listing of varsity teams that competed in intercollegiate athletic competition
  • Total annual revenues for men’s and women’s sports
  • The expenses incurred by the school for men’s and women’s sports
  • The total amount and ratio of athletically related student aid awarded to male athletes compared to females athletes
  • The annual school salary for non-volunteer head coaches and assistant coaches for men’s and women’s teams
  • For each varsity team in intercollegiate competition, the number of gender of participants and coaches, operating expenses, etc.

BMCC has a well-rounded athletic program for both men and women. We understand that many students enjoy participating in organized athletics or watching athletic contests as a part of campus life. We offer basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, and rodeo, and our teams have won many national and regional honors.

All athletics are within the office of Student & Enrollment Services. BMCC is a member of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges and the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. Athletes, both male and female, interested in the college should write to the Athletic Department, BMCC, for additional information.
