Kylene Grieb Becomes the New Volleyball Coach at BMCC

 

 

PENDLETON, Ore. - Kylene Grieb has been selected to become the next volleyball coach of the Blue Mountain Timberwolves. Grieb comes to BMCC by way of Irrigon High School where she was the head/assistant coach from August 2021 - January 2024. Prior to Irrigon, Grieb was the assistant coach for the Linn-Benton Community College Roadrunners under the leadership of Jayme Frazier. Grieb would play her collegiate career at Linn-Benton from 2016-2018, where she was a starting outside hitter for the Roadrunners. They went on to finish 2nd place in 2016 and 4th place in 2017. 

 

Kylene Grieb would attend Oregon State University to receive her bachelors in kinesiology after finishing her playing career at Linn-Benton.

 

"I am extremely excited to step into the role of head volleyball coach at Blue Mountain Community College" said Coach Grieb. "I see tremendous potential within this team and an opportunity to ignite a passion, drive, and a winning culture within the team. It is an honor to lead these athletes and shape a legacy that resonates both on and off the court. Go Wolves!"
