BMCC Athletics Accepts Nominations for the Hall of Fame Class of 2024

PENDLETON, Ore. - Since the inception of college athletics at Blue Mountain Community College in 1964, thousands of student-athletes have come to Blue Mountain to take their talents to the next level with hopes and dreams of becoming a NWAC or NIRA champion. In 2024, BMCC athletics launches its first Hall of Fame with the goal to honor, remember, and recognize the student-athletes that have come to BMCC and left their mark on their sport, the school, and community. Blue Mountain is excited to honor those student-athletes, teams, and community members who have been exemplary in their sport/field while at BMCC, and were/are leaders in their community. We are proud to honor the best in Timberwolves sports history and recognize the great athletes, teams, coaches and staff of the past.

“We are very proud to start the BMCC Athletics Hall of Fame" said BMCC Athletic Director Brad Baker. "There is a rich history of players, coaches, and teams that have played at Blue Mountain since Baseball and M. Basketball started here in 1964. Next year will be the 60^th year of BMCC Athletics! We are proud of the tradition and history at BMCC and we are excited to encompass this with the new BMCC Athletics Hall of Fame.”

The Hall of Fame Committee will review all nominations from this year and previous years by September 1st. Inductees for the new class will be notified and honored at the June Hall of Fame Banquet. Nominations are accepted year-round, however consideration for the upcoming class must have nomination forms sent in to the Hall of Fame Committee by September 1st of the year of the class is to be inducted. For example, nominations for the class of 2024 must have the form submitted by September 1st, 2023.
