NWAC Fall Postseason Awards
PENDLETON, Ore. - The Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) has officially announced the recipients of the 2022 fall sports awards. The Timberwolves have been recognized in all three fall sports.
The BMCC women's soccer team earned four postseason awards with Ryane Mattox (8 goals, 1 assist, #7 highest scorer in east region, #17 overall highest scorer) earning the first all star nomination from the BMCC women's soccer team in program history. Shyann Lamb (2 goals, 1 assist), Ayrion Covington (1 assist), and Kirsten Jonas (1 goal, 1 assist) were chosen as NWAC honorable mention recipients for their success this past season.
The BMCC men's soccer team earned six postseason awards with three men's soccer players earning all star nominations in Cristian Rea (5 goals), William Dominguez (1 assist), and Anthony Lemus (1.78 goals against average, and .718 save percentage). This will be the most all stars chosen from the men's soccer team in program history. Moises Lopez-Carrillo, Jesus Ruiz Alvarez, and Coleman Solano were chosen as NWAC honorable mention recipients as well for their success this past season.
The BMCC volleyball team had two chosen for postseason awards. Third year sophomore Kenzie Williams (406 assists, 8.6 assists per set) was chosen for the NWAC sophomore all star game and will travel to the championship site to compete with other sophomores from around the conference. Alliyah Stevens (137 kills, 2.8 kills per set) was chosen as second team all east region for her success this past season.
