BMCC Women's Soccer Scores Post Season Awards
PENDLETON, Ore. - With the end of the 2024 soccer season comes the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) post season awards. BMCC women's soccer earned two 2nd team all-conference performances, two first time all-stars, and the co-coach of the year award. BMCC women's soccer coming off the best finish in program history along with multiple other team records will be sending two players to participate in the all-star game.
NWAC East All Stars
Brianna Ehia - Forward, Sophomore, 6 goals, 3 assists, 33 games played in career
After a stellar sophomore campaign, Brianna will be heading to her first all-star game in Tukwila, WA after scoring 6 goals, 3 assists. Notable performances would be scoring 2 goals on Spokane. Spokane would go on to conceed 5 goals on the year, 2 of them would be from Brianna Ehia. Brianna will go down as the #2 scorer in program history and #2 in assists in program history.
Jacelyn Kenyon - Defender, Freshman, 6 clean sheets, 16 games played in career
Jacelyn would join the Timberwolves in her freshman year and make a statement right away helping the Wolves to the second most clean sheets in program history and being a lock down centerback in every appearance including shut outs against Walla Walla (twice) and a 3-0 win over Yakima Valley for the first sweep over Yakima in program history.
2nd Team All-Conference
Shelbie Hall-Wright - Midfielder, Sophomore, 8 goals scored, 4 assists, 33 games played in career
Shelbie earned her second, 2nd team all-conference award for her performance this past season as Shelbie would go on to become the #2 program scorer, #1 in assists, and #2 in goals scored in a season. The #2 scorer in the east region out of all scorers and tied for 4th in the east region for assists. A dynamic player who is all over the field and assisting the team however she can.
Emily Moses - Midfielder, Freshman, 3 goals, 5 assists, 16 games played in career
Finishing her freshmen campaign, Emily made an impact right away, playing every position in the midfield and doing whatever it took to help her teammates be successful. Scoring 3 goals and 5 assists, had notable goals against Rogue and a half field chip over the keeper against Yakima. Emily will move to #2 on assists in career and in a season at BMCC.
Alexis Ruiz Araiza - Defender, Sophomore, 30 games played in career
Alexis finishes off his sophomore campaign at BMCC with his second 2nd team all conference award. A dynamic player for the Wolves as an outside back, Alexis produced two assists in his time at BMCC.
Miguel Flores - Midfielder, Sophomore, 3 goals, 3 assists, 14 games played in career
Miguel finishes his time at BMCC earning 2nd team all conference for his performance in his sophomore season. Producing 3 goals and 3 assists, starting the season in the midfield and moving to the centerback to support his teammates where he was needed.
Coach of the Year
Jordan Hillmick - 7th season
For the first time in his career, Jordan Hillmick has been named east region coach of the year. He will share this honor with Dan Philip of Spokane. BMCC finishes in 4th place in the east, 1 game out of playoffs.
Coach Hillmick had this to say, "This award is for the team, for every player who has played for this program and that I have had the honor of coaching. This award is also for the amazing coaching staff that I had the pleasure of coaching with and being on the sidelines each game day and practice. The team, this family won the games and did the work and I am so proud of the work we did this year. What we are building here at BMCC women's soccer is special. I am so proud of the team and what they accomplished and forever thankful for them all. Go Wolves."
