2025 Fall Sports Season Underway
PENDLETON, Ore. - With the start of a new school year upon us, so is a brand new year in college athletics as the fall sports are officially underway for Blue Mountain. Volleyball, men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's golf all reported to campus and officially began practices on August 1st. Hoping to carry the momentum each team built in the off season, hopes are high and support is higher for the Timberwolves.
Volleyball
Under 2nd year head coach Kylene Grieb, the Wolves have their first competitions under their belts as they took to Centralia for a preseason tournament. Going 1-2 over the tournament, they officially picked up their first win of the season and first win for head coach Kylene Grieb. Led by sophomores Gracie Koch and Naveaha Butler who look to inspire and lead the Wolves this season. Other notable players for the Wolves after the opening games are Addison Olsen who had 39 assists and Rylin Payne who finished with 23 kills.

Golf
The men's and women's golf teams return to the courses. After sending three women to the conference championships and the men's team finishing 5th place in the conference championships, the Wolves look to go even farther this year under 2nd year head coach Rob Hillmick. Returning 11 golfers including the entire men's golf team that competed in their first conference championships in the spring. Alex Gailey and Karsen LeMoyne lead the Wolves after finishing tied for 14th in the conference. Aleaha Miller and Ally Grieg return for the women's golf team finishing 15th and 24th respectively at the conference championships.

Men's Soccer
Under 2nd year head coach Raymond Fox, the Wolves look to make the push back into the playoffs. From 2021-2023 the Wolves finished 1st in the east region and had 2 seperate NWAC playoff appearances. At the NWAC friendlies, the men's soccer team already earned two wins against conference opponents matching their win total from last season. With a fresh new look and an army of freshmen looking to make their mark. Led by freshmen captains Ben Stoyonov and Cristo Felix. Along with returning top scorer Jesus "Chofis" Lopez (7 goals), the Wolves are ready to make a statement.

Women's Soccer
The women's soccer team looks to make the final breakthrough they have been missing in their programs 10th season of competition. Finishing in 4th place, one spot out of playoff contention, the Wolves look to make the push under 8th year head coach Jordan Hillmick. Led by eleven sophomores, including top scorers from last season Alia Novi (5G, 2A) and Emily Moses (3G, 5A). The goal being held down by sophomore Miranda Medrano and centerbacks Gwyn Brearley and Jacelyn Kenyon.
