Bio

Jordan Hillmick will be leading the program with his sixth year at the helm of the BMCC women's soccer team. He is the all-time winningest coach in program history.

 

Hillmick's coaching certifications are as follows: International Society of Performance and Sport (ISPAS) Level 1 Certification, NSCAA Level 1 Diploma, NSCAA Goalkeeping Level 1, USC Club Administrator Certificate, Certificate in Technical Development of the Competitive Player, Futsal Mentor and Youth Coaching Certificate, National F license. 

 

During the 2023-24 season, BMCC would go on to break multiple program records, some of which include most wins in a season, most goals in a season, most shutouts in a season, etc. Ryane Mattox became a 2x all star selection as she led the Wolves (11G, 2A). Shelbie Hall-Wright became the #3 in assists in the conference for the regular season with 9 assists as she broke the program record for assists. Raegan Heffler, Seanee Still, and Shelbie Hall-Wright became conference all-region selections as well. Seanee Still would lead the Wolves in goal as she would go on to finish the season with the save percentage record and log four shutouts. 

 

During the 2022-23 season, The Wolves would go on to earn the most wins in a single season in program history while breaking countless more program records. Ryane Mattox (8G,1A) led the Timberwolves scoring and earned the first all-star selection for BMCC women's soccer team. Shyann Lamb, Ayrion Covington, and Kirsten Jonas were chosen for the NWAC all-region award for their performances during the season.

 

During the 2021-22 season, BMCC would go to suffer several season ending injuries for 5 starters early into the campaign. Led by scoring efforts from Kennedy Robertson (4G,3A) the Timberwolves finished 1-12-1 on the season. Graduating 11 sophomores, 8 of which choose to return for their final seasons during the 2022-23 season. Kennedy Robertson, McKell Wilson, and Aubree Skone would go to be nominated for the NWAC all-star game. Jessalee Wilks, Faith Meine, and Cecelia Aguilera would go on to earn NWAC east region honorable mention. 

 

During the 2020-21 season, the Timberwolves were delayed in starting until the spring of 2021 to start due to COVID-19. After beginning the season the Wolves would go to finish a program best 4-5 and finish in 4th place, a program best finish, while graduating 5 sophomores. McKell Wilson, Josie Ash, and Jessica Macias would go to make the all-region team for the season. McKell Wilson also earned the 2020-21 female athlete of the year at BMCC. Three sophomores would end up returning to BMCC to finish their seasons of competition.

 

During the 2019-20 season, Coach Hillmick led the Timberwolves to the best record in program history despite a season plagued with injuries. The women's soccer team garnered 3 all-region players in Olivia Luna Castellanos, Tinacia Christensen, and Makayla McCabe. Olivia Luna Castellanos also earned the NWAC academic excellence award. Olivia Luna Castellanos also earned the 2019-20 female athlete of the year at BMCC. Coach Hillmick also had the first players from the program sign four year letter of intents as Alex Anteau, Olivia Luna Castellanos, Mariel Salinas Duran, and Daliah Cruz Murray all signed to compete at the four year level. This was the most players from the program to sign national LOI's.

 

During the 2018-19 season, Coach Hillmick's first year at the helm, led the program to its first win in program history and first shut out in program history. The women's soccer team garnered 3 all-region players in Daisy Torres, Olivia Luna Castellanos, and Kiana Corpuz. Including two NWAC academic excellence awards with Jenna Senter, and Hunter Price.

 

Prior to arriving at Blue Mountain, Hillmick was the assistant men's and women's coach at Eastern Oregon University from spring 2017 to spring 2018. During his time he also aided in coaching the goalkeepers on the women's soccer team at EOU during the 2017 campaign in which the women's soccer team won the 2017 Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season and tournament title while earning a national tournament birth. 

 

Coach Hillmick was a member of the Eastern Oregon University men's soccer team from 2015-2017, and Walla Walla University men's soccer team from 2012-2013. Hillmick graduated from Eastern Oregon University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Physical Acitivity & Health in 2017. During his time at Eastern Oregon University, he was also a recipient of the Mountie Impact Award for community service and outreach for his efforts and work with EOU Athletics. 

 

A graduate of Pendleton High School in 2012, he broke two school records in 2011. Setting the records for saves in a game (27), and saves in a season (198). Jordan earned his first coaching job in 2013 as an assistant coach for Pendleton High School boys soccer. 

 

Jordan's coaching highlights are in 2016-2018 leading La Grande High School to a record of 25-1-3 in 2 seasons.
