Bio

Shayne has played and pitched junior/men’s fastpitch softball for over 30 years and coached for 11 years. Personal accomplishments include winning MVP player and MVP pitcher awards and more importantly team accomplishments include winning regional tournaments in Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia, Canada, ASA Montana State Champions in 2014, and earning 5th place at 2013 ASA Nationals in Prescott, Arizona.

Shayne's coaching philosophy is based upon Path-Goal Theory and the Golden Rule. The goal is developing player's character, refining physical and mental skills for competition, and emphasizing team chemistry. 

Coach Arndt encourages student athletes to succeed in the classroom, on the softball field, and prepare for life after softball.
