Winter Delays Home Openers
PENDLETON, Ore. - The BMCC Baseball and Softball teams will have to wait a little longer to play at home as the winter weather and snow are staying around a bit longer. With all sport fields having a fair amount of snow on them the athletics department and BMCC administration is working hard to allow the teams to play either at neutral locations or scheduling new games. Instead of baseball playing Green River, they will now travel to Linn-Benton Community College to play on Saturday, March 9th at 2pm and a double-header on Sunday, March 10th at 11am and 2pm. Softball, who was scheduled to have their home opener on Friday, will now travel to Tigard, OR to take on SWOCC at a neutral location. The game will be played at Tigard High School and will begin at 10am and 12:30pm on Friday, March 8th.
