Larson Steps Down as Head Volleyball Coach

PENDLETON, Ore. - After four seasons at the helm, Blue Mountain Community College volleyball coach Ceanna Larson has stepped down as she has accepted a new job offer to become the volleyball coach at Centralia College in Centralia, WA. Larson leaves BMCC with a career record of 34-61 and a best finish of fourth in 2020-21 season that was moved to the spring of 2021 due to COVID.

"It is with a heavy heart that I announce my leave from BMCC Volleyball" said coach Ceanna Larson. "Thank you to all the Timberwolves I've had the honor of coaching, and their amazing families for their support and dedication to our program. I will miss our local athletes, who bring joy and hard work into our gym every year during camps! I am excited to make my mark on Centralia College and hope that our community will accept the new BMCC coach with open arms and continue to grow our sport in Eastern Oregon."

A national search will begin right away for a new head coach to take over the Timberwolves volleyball program. The 2023-24 season begins on August 1st, with the first game scheduled on August 25th, 2023.
