BMCC Baseball has 3 Selected to NWAC Showcase
PENDLETON, Ore. – BMCC baseball is coming off one of its most successful seasons in team history earning 22 wins in the 2019 season. On September 22nd at Bellevue College BMCC had 3 athletes selected to participate in the NWAC Baseball Showcase in front of over 60 recruiters and scouts from both professional baseball organizations and four-year colleges. From BMCC, Carsten Manderbach, Micah O’Donnell, and Matt Johnson were selected to participate in the elite event. “It is a great honor to be selected to the NWAC Baseball Showcase,” Head Baseball Coach Brad Baker had to say. “Some of the top four year schools in the nation and pro scouts attend this event to watch the top talent in the NWAC. All three of these guys are extremely deserving for this selection, and I am confident they will perform well at the event.”
BMCC will kick off its fall ball season at home on Saturday the 28th against the Eastern Oregon and Boise Cubs Baseball clubs starting at 10am.
