10 BMCC Baseball Players Ink LOI’s for 4 Year Programs

PENDLETON, Ore. – BMCC baseball is coming off one of its most successful years, earning 22 wins which is the 2nd most in program history. Finishing up his sixth year at the helm of the baseball program coach Brad Baker has helped over 40 players move on to 4 year universities. Of the many years that coach Baker has been sending players to 4 year programs, few have been as large as this group of 10 that will soon become alumni of the program. Coach Baker had this to say, “It is an amazing sight to see all of these Wolves moving on to continue their academic and baseball careers to four year universities.  These student-athletes worked hard in the classroom, and the field to set them up for this opportunity.  I’m glad they choose BMCC as part of their life path and I have a good feeling that these individuals will be successful at their four universities and in the future. One of the best parts of coaching at a community college is to see your players move on and further their life journeys in a positive way and I was happy to be a part of it.”

Coach Baker has always done a really great job getting sophomores scholarships and with the 2019 class it was no different. Signing with Lewis-Clark State College would not have been possible if it weren't for the opportunities I earned here at Blue Mountain. I am proud to be joining the Warrior family, but forever, Go Wolves!”
